In Apex, we help you finally understand why you still feel this way despite everything you’ve tried, and actually change it, backed by a full investigation into your genetics, gut health, and bloodwork, in 6 months, even if you’ve seen multiple providers and left every appointment without a real answer.
Many of our clients also use Apex as an opportunity to assess and build a roadmap. Your physician is trained to diagnose disease and prescribe treatment. We are trained to investigate root causes through nutrition, lifestyle, and advanced functional labs your physician likely doesn’t run. Apex doesn’t replace your medical care; it works alongside it. We coordinate with your providers when relevant, and we have a Physician Advisor (Dr. Gabriella Safdieh, MD) available as an add-on for prescription and integrative medicine questions.

Six months is the minimum window to run baseline labs, build a protocol, retest, and confirm changes are sustainable. Anything shorter is guessing. If you’re looking for ongoing personalized support without the multi-system investigation, Evergreen is our program for that.

Your clinician orders the labs your case actually needs, drawn from our full menu: a comprehensive blood panel, 3X4 Genetics, a gut microbiome stool test, and Mira hormone wands. Most clients get most of them; some clients need fewer based on what their case calls for. If you have recent, clinically appropriate labs from another provider, we can use those instead of repeating, and your clinician will adjust the program scope accordingly. Lab decisions are clinician-led, not client-directed.

Apex is a self-pay program and is not billed through insurance. However, Apex is HSA and FSA eligible. We can provide a superbill for clients who want to submit to insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many Apex clients use HSA or FSA dollars to fund the program.

Apex is delivered fully virtually for most clients, with all visits over secure video and labs shipped to your home. The depth of investigation, lab workup, and protocol are the same either way.
If you're local to Richmond, Styku 3D body scanning and grip strength testing are available in-person, but they aren't required to complete the program.

Apex is led by Taryn or Morgan, depending on which clinician is the best fit for your case. Both are board-certified clinical nutritionists with advanced training. Our Office Manager handles your kickoff and logistics.

Most Apex graduates transition into Meridian, our step-down maintenance program. Meridian is for clients who want to stay proactive: regular check-ins, lab monitoring, and a clinician who already knows their case. It’s available quarterly or annually and only offered to graduating Apex and Evergreen clients.
